Citizens Financial Group, Inc. is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Johnston, Rhode Island, with 100% remote work permitted from any location in the United States. The role designs and implements technology solutions, builds distributed and cloud-based data components, develops ETL pipelines and REST APIs, maintains platform-level data models, uses big-data and observability technologies, participates in Agile development and technical reviews, and leads and mentors junior engineers. The position requires either a master's degree plus four years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree plus six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience, including substantial experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, DataStage, Talend, SQL query tools, source control, logging and monitoring platforms, Hadoop, Spark, Beam, Flink, and Autosys.
