Codat is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for its Data and Insights team. The role involves writing production Python code, building and maintaining data pipelines, owning projects from problem understanding through delivery and production reliability, and leading the technical direction of the Insights platform. Responsibilities include improving engineering standards, applying AI across products and pipelines, and contributing to MCP and semantic-layer foundations. The position requires strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on data-pipeline and production-system experience, modern data-engineering tooling, deployment practices, product and communication skills, and an AI-first working approach.
