Description
The Senior Data Engineer will build a future-state MVP for a healthcare and medical scheme administration data platform, establishing Snowflake-based data models, automated ingestion and transformation pipelines, dbt workflows, data quality and testing, monitoring, CI/CD, DataOps, and Power BI reporting. The role requires hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Fivetran, advanced SQL, data modelling, and regulated-data practices, and will operate in a hybrid arrangement in Waterfall, Midrand, Johannesburg for five months starting 1 October 2026.
