Empower is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and file ingestion frameworks on AWS. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, translates data requirements into technical solutions, implements data governance and security practices, troubleshoots data integrity and performance issues, participates in code reviews, and mentors junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 4 to 6 years of data engineering experience, proficiency with Python, PySpark, SQL, RDBMS, and AWS technologies, and experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing. The position offers a base salary of $105,700 to $149,275 and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
