Description

Foley is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale production data pipelines, data warehouse schemas, and enterprise data architecture. The role covers batch and event-driven or CDC-based workflows, data modeling, governance, observability, troubleshooting, and cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Product, Analytics, and business stakeholders. It is primarily remote and US-based, with occasional travel, and offers medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments
Working across batch and streaming, CDC, or event-driven data patterns
Designing and maintaining scalable warehouse schemas and data models in a layered architecture
Experience with Python, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms
Experience with AWS data services including Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, and EventBridge
Strong software engineering fundamentals, reliability, testing, and maintainability
Operating independently and delivering high-quality solutions within a defined technical scope
Problem-solving and handling production issues
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medallion architecture and bronze, silver, gold data modeling patterns
Experience with graph data models and entity resolution
Experience implementing data governance practices, including RBAC
Experience supporting machine learning or LLM-related pipelines in production environments
Familiarity with AI tools or workflows that improve engineering productivity
Experience partnering with Data Science or Analytics teams to support data products
