Description
Formation Bio is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build and operate production data systems supporting clinical operations, drug asset evaluation, business development, analytics, machine learning, and AI-enabled employees and agents. The role owns data ingestion pipelines, transformations, data models, data products, data quality, governance, observability, and incident response, while partnering with Product Engineering, Data Science, and other stakeholders. Candidates need at least five years of relevant data engineering experience, pharmaceutical or regulated data experience, strong Python and SQL skills, Snowflake and Dagster experience, and familiarity with Docker, GitHub, and Terraform or OpenTofu. The role is primarily based in New York City or Boston with a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office.
