Fractal is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a client’s global digital retail and e-commerce organization in the Bay Area, California, on a hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week. The role designs, builds, and operates large-scale production data platforms, manages analytics and experimentation quality, coordinates cross-functional and offshore delivery, and owns ETL/ELT pipelines, observability, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and incident response. Candidates need 10+ years of software development and data engineering experience, strong Python and database expertise, and a relevant bachelor’s degree; an MS is preferred. The starting base salary is approximately $130,000, with potential for a higher base and a performance-based bonus.
