Description

Hazel is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to own the end-to-end data platform, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, reliability, and the development of AI agents that build and test integrations. The role requires at least four years of production data infrastructure experience, strong dbt and SQL knowledge, Python, and experience with a production orchestrator. The position offers a $155,000–$200,000 base salary, equity, health, dental, vision, 401(k), and unlimited PTO, with a hybrid arrangement in New York City.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years building production data infrastructure with ownership of a warehouse
Deep understanding of dbt and SQL, including data modeling, grain, and incrementality

Experience using coding agents in practice
Strong documentation skills
