Pattern is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in its Shenzhen office to report to the Head of Engineering, APAC. The role builds, deploys, and maintains real-time, automated, scalable data pipelines into data lakes or warehouses; ensures data quality; troubleshoots large-scale processing workflows; supports data requirements and access; optimizes SQL and query performance; and collaborates with technology and business teams. Required qualifications include 6–8 years of data engineering experience, at least 3 years of SQL and modern data warehouse experience, familiarity with big data tools, strong software engineering and scripting skills, and English proficiency.
