SecurityScorecard is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data engineering projects and build reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications. The role covers requirements translation, design, development, testing, performance tuning, monitoring, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers, while collaborating with product managers and global engineering teams. The technology stack includes Scala, Apache Spark, Python, Airflow, ScyllaDB, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS. Candidates need at least five years of data engineering experience, strong Spark proficiency, experience with strongly-typed languages and RESTful APIs, and familiarity with agile development and version control. The position offers a base-plus-bonus compensation range of $75,000 to $92,000, stock options, health benefits, and other benefits, with no immigration sponsorship.
