Description
The Senior Data Engineer will lead Snapper’s data architecture and warehouse platform, evaluating and recommending among Redshift, Snowflake, or ClickHouse, and leading end-to-end warehouse builds or migrations. The role also architects scalable Python/PySpark and AWS data pipelines, owns data quality and testing, applies Terraform and Git-based CI/CD, partners with product and business stakeholders, and mentors experienced data engineers. It is a full-time, experience-based position based in Wellington, New Zealand, reporting to a Principal Engineer and potentially managing up to six direct reports.
