Softeta is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a banking client. The role focuses on designing and improving data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharing systems; building scalable and reliable data architectures; developing ETL/ELT pipelines; ensuring integration and synchronization across systems; maintaining data quality, security, availability, and performance; and working closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders. The position requires strong experience with SQL, Python, databases, cloud platforms, container orchestration, streaming technologies, and data tooling, with banking or finance domain exposure considered an advantage. The work is described as a hybrid or remote model with flexible hours.
