Tripadvisor is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for its Data Platform group to design, build, and sustain enterprise-scale data infrastructure and pipelines. The role covers ETL/ELT, streaming and batch systems, data modeling, observability, governance, cloud infrastructure, and production Java and Python software engineering across Snowflake, BigQuery, Hive, Flink, Spark, Kafka, and AWS. It requires 8+ years of commercial data engineering or software development experience, technical leadership, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. The position is remote-friendly with the option to work on-site in select locations.
