Amazon is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for its AWS Analytics Engineering organization in Seattle, Washington. The role owns 3–5 data domains end-to-end, operates hundreds of pipelines, defines data and infrastructure architecture, builds ingestion and analytical models, improves data processing practices, and mentors engineers. Candidates need 7+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and ETL/ELT expertise, experience with AWS data services and MPP databases, and knowledge of AI/ML and agentic frameworks. The position offers a base salary of 154,600–209,100 USD annually plus benefits.
