Description
Mico is hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Data Platform) to own the analysis, governance, migration, optimization, and reliability work for its TiDB and Aurora data platform. The role includes building entity-level access and lineage matrices, deciding which data stays in TiDB and which moves to Snowflake, implementing retention and deletion, transforming event attributes, offloading heavy aggregations, establishing quantitative benchmarks, fixing flaky tests, maintaining local reproduction environments, and participating in on-call and incident response. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, at least 5 years of backend or data engineering experience, strong SQL and relational modeling skills, AWS and distributed-database expertise, and experience with testing, CI, monitoring, and reliability.
