Description

The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration, migration, ETL/ELT, and search solutions across enterprise systems. The role includes data mapping, SQL development, Elasticsearch optimization, data modeling, troubleshooting, software integration, migration cutover, architecture reviews, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and documentation. It requires 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related software engineering roles, with strong SQL, database, data modeling, and software development experience.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related software engineering roles
Experience with data mapping, data migration, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch index design, optimization, and performance tuning
Experience working with SQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB
Software engineering experience using Java, TypeScript, or C#
Strong SQL development skills, including query optimization and database design
Experience designing scalable and maintainable data solutions in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Data Factory, or similar
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and modern data architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to Kafka, event-driven architectures, or real-time data processing
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with large-scale data migration programs
Knowledge of search platforms and information retrieval systems
Experience supporting AI/ML data platforms
Previous experience in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments
