Life360 is hiring a Senior Data Engineer II to design, build, and maintain scalable distributed data pipelines and systems for a secure data lakehouse. The role covers ingestion through ELT, streaming and batch processing, data modeling, ML model features, workflow automation, and collaboration with product, analytics, and data science teams. Candidates need at least five years of high-volume data infrastructure experience, expertise with a modern cloud data warehouse or lakehouse platform, Python and SQL proficiency, dbt ownership, Spark or Presto/Trino experience, and familiarity with LLM-assisted code generation. The position is remote-first within the United States and Canada, with a US base salary of $148,000 to $216,500 and Canadian base salary of $171,500 to $201,000 CAD.
