The Sr. Data Engineer will translate business requirements into Azure cloud-based data modernisation solutions, building complex ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures. The role covers Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Spark, streaming, Delta Lake, data quality, monitoring, DevOps, cost optimisation, incident triage, and migrations from on-premises to public cloud. It requires 8+ years of IT experience, including 6+ years of Azure data engineering delivery, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
