Description
The Senior Data Engineer / Scala Developer will be the primary technical owner of Nebraska's enterprise data processing framework for Medicaid Encounter Processing and enterprise data ingestion. The role maintains and enhances production applications built with Scala, Apache Spark, Hive, Drools, and Cloudera Data Platform; supports releases, defect resolution, performance tuning, monitoring, documentation, and operational administration. It is a fully remote, contract position lasting up to 12 months with possible extension, requiring a United States citizen or Green Card holder and at least 7 years of distributed data processing experience.
