Description
Altana is hiring a senior technical data engineering leader for its Platform Operations & Compliance team. The role develops, deploys, and improves distributed big-data ingestion and standardization pipelines; scales data systems; supports reliability, costs, controls, and customer security accreditations; and serves as a technical expert in client-facing engagements. It requires 8+ years of data engineering experience, expertise with complex data models and full-lifecycle pipeline operations, cloud environments and services, Dockerized microservices, technical leadership and mentoring, customer communication, and eligibility for UK Security Check clearance. Preferred experience includes data platform operations, ML pipeline deployment, trade compliance or supply chains, public-sector work, and AI tools.
