Gene by Gene is hiring a Senior Data Pipeline Engineer/Developer to design, build, and own production ETL and ELT pipelines for genomic and operational data. The role leads technical direction across batch and streaming architectures, data platforms, quality, lineage, observability, security, and regulatory compliance, while providing architectural and code-level guidance to engineering teams. It is a Python-first, full-stack engineering position requiring extensive experience in regulated environments, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and bioinformatics workflows.
