BTI360 is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to expand an AWS- and Kubernetes-based data lake into a community-wide data hub for OSINT data and data scientists. The role involves building Java and Spring backend services, developing cloud-native AWS solutions, contributing to full-stack React and Next.js development, supporting event-driven architectures and distributed systems, and modernizing data access, metadata services, and platform capabilities. The position requires a Secret clearance or higher, willingness to upgrade to TS/SCI, a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least eight years of Java and Spring experience, AWS and Infrastructure as Code experience, and primary residence within two hours of the Herndon office. The base salary is $146,000-$255,500, with fully paid healthcare premiums and other benefits.
