The role focuses on designing scalable logging architectures, building high-throughput data ingestion pipelines, deploying ELK and OpenSearch systems, managing petabyte-scale log storage, automating infrastructure, optimizing query performance, and mentoring engineering team members. Candidates should have senior-level experience with enterprise logging and data ingestion systems, typically over five years, along with expertise in data lakes, streaming, cloud storage, infrastructure as code, data pipelines, and observability. The role is available across Canada, with local candidates expected to work in office at least two days per week in Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto.
