Fischer Homes is hiring an IT Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and modernize its enterprise data platform, with responsibility for Microsoft SQL Server and cloud database environments. The role covers database administration, performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, security, automation, incident response, data movement, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, analytics, and business stakeholders. It is 100% onsite in the Erlanger, Kentucky office and requires at least six years of production SQL Server experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, and experience with SQL Server in AWS or Azure.
