Description
Astranis is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer - Enterprise Systems to architect and build its core data architecture, unified logging and observability pipelines, backend data tools, and enterprise analytics infrastructure. The role involves customer discovery across aerospace, hardware, software, finance, sales, and other teams, along with data governance, RBAC, schema evolution, and integration of telemetry, manufacturing, supply chain, ERP, and other operational data. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience, at least five years of software or data engineering experience, strong Python and database skills, and experience with data orchestration and modeling tools. The base salary is $145,000–$210,000 USD, with equity and benefits, and U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected refugee/asylee status is required.
