Description
Mirantis is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the event-streaming, transactional database, and custom connectivity backbone of its k0rdent-ai platform. The role involves architecting and operating high-availability PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka systems across Kubernetes and bare metal, developing Go-based clients and connectors, integrating enterprise identity providers, scaling CDC pipelines, designing cross-region disaster recovery, tuning database and Kubernetes infrastructure, and implementing GitOps, security, and multi-tenant isolation. The position requires 10+ years of systems, software, data, or platform engineering experience, strong PostgreSQL and Kafka expertise, and production experience in AWS or GCP.
