Description
Zopa is hiring a Data Privacy Associate to translate complex privacy questions into proportionate recommendations, help build a risk-based data-privacy framework, partner with data and technology teams on governance decisions, lead responses to significant privacy issues, mentor a Data Privacy Associate, and represent the privacy perspective to senior stakeholders. The role requires substantial practical data-privacy experience, strong UK GDPR knowledge, experience shaping privacy frameworks or operating models, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across product, technology, operations, legal, risk, and security teams. It is a hybrid role based in London, requiring attendance at the London office two to three days per week, with the option to work from abroad for up to 120 days per year subject to the right to work in the chosen country.
