Description

Sabre is hiring a Senior Data Science Engineer for its Data Intelligence & Research team. The role involves designing, deploying, and productionizing AI and data intelligence pipelines for travel platforms, researching AI-driven travel and Media opportunities, developing LLM and conversational commerce systems, modernizing legacy automation on GCP, establishing MLOps standards, and mentoring engineers. The position is hybrid in Kraków, Poland, with three office days per week and flexible hours.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Advanced degree in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, or Physics; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, or Operations Research.
Experience with Agile software development and productionizing complex research models.
Preferred Qualifications: Travel industry experience, particularly with GDS or OTA systems.
Mentoring junior data scientists and engineers.
Self-directed leadership of complex cross-functional projects.
Experience with LLMs, customer intent recognition, or conversational commerce.
