Duolingo is hiring a Senior Data Science Manager to lead the data science function within its Growth pillar. The role owns product data science, forecasting, experimentation, business intelligence, and analytical infrastructure for user acquisition, activation, retention, and reengagement; it also leads a team of 6 to 10 data scientists and partners with Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, and Finance. Candidates need experience managing data science teams, applying causal inference, experimentation, or machine learning, and strong SQL, Python, or R skills. The base salary is $204,000–$306,000 USD, supplemented by equity compensation.
