Description
Safety National is hiring a Senior Data Scientist in its Advanced Analytics department to solve complex business challenges through advanced analytics and machine learning. The role partners with claims, underwriting, actuarial, and other stakeholders to develop, deploy, validate, and optimize predictive models; ensure data quality and regulatory compliance; create visualizations; and communicate technical findings. Candidates need a master's degree in a quantitative field, at least six years of data science experience focused on machine learning and predictive modeling, strong Python or R and SQL skills, and experience with relational databases and cloud data warehouses. The position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the St. Louis corporate office, and offers a target base salary of $116,500 to $150,500.
