CAS is hiring a Senior Data Scientist focused on agentic AI development and large language model engineering for its Data Analytics and Insights team in Columbus, Ohio. The role will independently design, build, evaluate, and productionize agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, fine-tuned LLMs, and predictive models for scientific research products; establish evaluation, safety, access-control, and deployment standards; and provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists and engineers. Candidates need a relevant master's degree with 6+ years of applied AI/ML or data science experience, advanced Python and AI-engineering skills, production experience with LLM applications, and the ability to work with scientific data and stakeholders.
