Description
Amgen is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its AI & Data for Engineered Biologics team within the Large Molecule Discovery organization. The role develops machine learning models linking protein sequences, structures, biophysical measurements, and experimental outcomes to developability and structural tractability, while building scalable workflows, foundation models, interpretable and uncertainty-aware methods, and active-learning or Bayesian-optimization approaches. The scientist will collaborate with protein scientists, structural biologists, and ML engineers and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
