Discord is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Experimentation Platform team to improve the reliability and scalability of experimentation, validate statistical methodologies, and lead causal inference research and training. The role collaborates with engineering and product teams, educates cross-functional teams on experimental design and statistical methods, and supports the broader Data Science team. Candidates need an MSc in a quantitative field, at least two years of experimentation or causal inference experience, strong communication and training skills, and proficiency with Python, SQL, R, and other statistical programming languages. The US base salary range is $220,500 to $245,000 plus equity and benefits.
