Oscar is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Risk Adjustment Data Science team. The role designs, builds, and maintains production data pipelines, statistical and machine learning models, and analytical systems that automate clinical risk quantification and risk adjustment submissions. The scientist will partner with actuarial, risk adjustment, and other business stakeholders; own projects end-to-end; shape the team’s technical direction; and mentor junior data scientists. The position is based in Oscar’s New York City office on a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week and pays $163,944 to $215,176.50 annually.
