Description
Parafin is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end projects for its automated underwriting engine. The role owns the full data-science lifecycle, including designing and deploying production underwriting models, creating experiments and metrics for risk and pricing decisions, collaborating with engineering and product teams on automated systems, and identifying opportunities to improve growth and profitability. Candidates should have strong statistical reasoning, business acumen, engineering and systems skills, and leadership and collaboration abilities. The position offers a $200,000–$260,000 base salary plus equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, work-from-home flexibility, and other benefits.
