Qantas is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for a permanent hybrid role based at its Mascot office, with three days in the office as a baseline. The role leads the design, delivery, and ongoing operation of scalable AI/ML and data products, including productionisation, automation, model implementation, ML Ops, analytics projects, and strategic recommendations. Candidates need tertiary qualifications in a quantitative field, at least five years of relevant experience, hands-on ML/AI experience, modern data science tooling, cloud data platform experience, and strong stakeholder communication skills.
