Samba is hiring a Senior Data Scientist in Amsterdam to shape its data science function for advertising in the agentic era. The role owns end-to-end data science projects, develops production machine learning systems, applies modern AI and agentic capabilities, and integrates LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation into production pipelines. Responsibilities include defining modeling methodology, building Python and PySpark systems on Databricks, collaborating with engineering and product teams, establishing MLOps practices, and mentoring data scientists. The position requires 8+ years of hands-on data science experience, a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced qualifications, and expertise in machine learning, production systems, vector databases, SQL, PySpark, MLOps, and agentic AI.
