Vodacom is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end machine learning and AI use cases across customer experience, monetization, and productivity. The role covers problem framing, data exploration, feature engineering, model development, production deployment, monitoring, experimentation, and the creation of recommender and generative AI solutions. It requires strong Python, SQL, deep learning, MLOps, and cloud skills, along with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 5–8 years of hands-on data science experience.
