Wayve is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Model Integration & Release team to analyze simulation and on-road driving data, improve evaluation metrics and measurement methods, and turn findings into actionable improvements for model releases. The role partners with Validation, Data Science, Product, and OEM partners, requires Python or SQL and statistical experimentation skills, and is a full-time hybrid position based in London, United Kingdom, or Sunnyvale, United States.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on experience with ML evaluation data, driving performance metrics, or complex test results at scale, including statistical methods for A/B testing and experimentation
Proficiency in Python or SQL and experience querying and analyzing large datasets
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or safety-critical ML systems
Familiarity with simulation-based testing, on-road experiment analysis, or statistical methods for comparing model behaviour
Experience working across product, safety, and engineering teams
Exposure to OEM or partner validation workflows
Experience improving evaluation infrastructure or measurement methodology
