Hertz is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its Damage Science Team to develop and maintain machine learning models for repair routing, repair forecasting, vehicle disposition, demand planning, and other business-impact analytics. The role covers the full model development lifecycle, including data analysis, feature engineering, model tuning, implementation, reporting, and cross-functional partnerships. Candidates need at least five years of data science experience, strong SQL and Python skills, three or more years of end-to-end machine learning experience, demonstrated business impact, relevant car rental or technology experience, and a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
