Neo.Tax is hiring a Senior Data Scientist + Machine Learning Engineer to build and ship machine learning models and production systems for R&D tax credit and software capitalization workflows. The role owns ML/AI problem spaces from definition through production, develops models across classification, information extraction, entity resolution, clustering, ranking, anomaly detection, and forecasting, designs LLM pipelines, and operates data and model-serving infrastructure. It requires a relevant MS/PhD or equivalent experience, at least six years of industry experience shipping ML to production, strong Python and statistical modeling skills, and experience with data pipelines, SQL, production systems, and LLM evaluation. The position is remote, prefers overlap with the San Francisco headquarters, and offers a salary of $190,000–$210,000 plus equity and health benefits.
