Micron is hiring a Data Science Engineer to develop software, algorithms, and automated processes that cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources. The role involves creating predictive models and actionable insights, conducting exploratory analysis, collaborating with product, service, business, and UX teams, and improving manufacturing and production metrics through optimization and simulation solutions. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, semiconductor or manufacturing operations experience, discrete-event and optimization modeling experience, cloud and API knowledge, and at least three years of experience with programming languages including Java, Python, SQL, HTML, C/C++, and CSS.
