Description

BTSE is hiring a Database Administrator to design, deploy, automate, monitor, and optimize mission-critical PostgreSQL clusters in AWS and data center environments. The role focuses on high availability, performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery, 24/7 production support, incident response, and collaboration with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams. Candidates need at least four years of production PostgreSQL experience, strong SQL and performance-tuning knowledge, AWS and infrastructure-automation expertise, and proficiency with Linux and scripting.

Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years managing PostgreSQL databases in production environments

Experience automating infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with observability and alerting stacks
