Description
The role is responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and optimizing moderate to complex SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, backups, recovery, migrations, performance tuning, security, and documentation. It also involves supporting cross-functional projects, coordinating developer resources, meeting with business users, and mentoring junior associates. The position requires post-secondary education or equivalent experience, SQL optimization and administration skills, MS SQL Server 2005 or later experience, and troubleshooting expertise; it is a hybrid role with four onsite days in Richmond Hill and offers health and dental benefits, an associate discount, RRSP/DPSP, performance bonuses, and learning programs.
