Description
Appian is hiring a Senior Database Engineer for its Public Sector Customer Success team in McLean, Virginia, on an in-office or hybrid basis. The role designs and maintains complex relational and NoSQL data architectures, migrates legacy data, implements ETL and database clusters, optimizes performance, integrates database objects into CI/CD, and supports automated testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least three years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and NoSQL skills, experience with major database platforms and cloud technologies, and an active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship is required. The base salary is $100,000–$200,000 USD, with a government clearance differential and additional benefits.
