Description

The Senior Database Engineer at State Street Bank and Trust Company contributes to developing and certifying Azure DB and Managed Instances for the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). This role involves enhancing and maintaining CRIMS schema and database infrastructure, providing technical leadership on the DBA team, and offering engineering troubleshooting assistance to various internal teams. Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience with enterprise applications backed with relational databases.
3 years of experience on Azure DB and/or Managed Instance
3 years working with an Agile development methodology.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with performance optimization of database solutions and strong knowledge of database development and tuning concepts and tools
demonstrated authoritative experience with relational databases (RDBMS), hardware sizing and configuration, operating systems, scripting and new/advanced database technologies
demonstrated problem solving abilities involving multi-tiered, high-performance database applications
proven strong ability to design and develop software solutions to business and technical problems of high complexity
