Description
Total Quality Logistics is hiring a Database Engineer in Tampa, Florida, to partner with application development teams on the design, development, testing, and implementation of data-intensive OLTP applications. The role focuses on SQL Server while also supporting MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and other database platforms, with responsibilities including schema design, query optimization, indexing, performance and stress testing, database standards, troubleshooting, and liaison with the database administration team. A bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is preferred, along with experience using SQL Server or relational databases, MongoDB or Elasticsearch, ORMs, containerization, DevOps tools, scripting, and database performance tuning.
