The role covers clustering, storage, security, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backups, replication, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and collaboration with development and system engineering teams. Candidates need at least five years of production PostgreSQL experience, with five years of production Oracle experience desired, along with strong UNIX/Linux, database administration, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
