Description

CloudLinux / TuxCare is hiring a fully remote Senior Database Reliability Engineer for its Infrastructure DBA cell. The role owns production PostgreSQL reliability and disaster recovery, supports ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis, automates DBA workflows, develops DBaaS-style self-service capabilities, and improves observability and incident response. It requires deep senior-level PostgreSQL production experience, strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals, Ansible and scripting automation, and the ability to operate highly available databases; ClickHouse, Terraform/OpenTofu, GitLab CI/CD, MongoDB, Redis, and AI-assisted engineering are additional advantages.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of hands-on PostgreSQL experience in business-critical production environments, or equivalent depth.
Experience operating highly available databases and handling failover, rollback, quorum, split-brain risk, and recovery.
Experience supporting multiple database engines.
Preferred Qualifications: ClickHouse operations experience.
Terraform/OpenTofu and GitLab CI/CD experience.
MongoDB replica sets and Percona Backup for MongoDB.
Redis/Sentinel and broker or cache failure-mode knowledge.
Experience building internal platforms, self-service portals, or DBaaS workflows.
Upper-intermediate or higher English communication skills.
