Prompt is hiring a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to own the reliability, performance, availability, cost efficiency, observability, and disaster recovery of production Aurora MySQL databases across its EHR, Data, and AI teams. The role includes managing alerts and on-call coverage, optimizing queries and indexes, right-sizing infrastructure, reviewing application queries, and establishing secure schema-change and migration practices in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Candidates need at least six years of database reliability, administration, or engineering experience, strong MySQL expertise, cloud and observability experience, and scripting and infrastructure-as-code proficiency.
